As we mentioned in our previous e-mail, our university is organizing a free educational course aimed at contributing to your personal and academic development. This program provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills and will support you in taking an important step toward your career journey.
NUMA ( NextGen Urban Mobility Academy), a collaboration among the University of West Attica, Sultanbeyli Municipality, Ardem Project and EcoMuse Consulting, focuses on Athens and Istanbul.
Leveraging the knowledge triangle of education, research and business with active city involvement, NUMA aims to drive long-term innovation through tailored education. Key activities include developing courses for municipal employees and university students, organizing stakeholder events and emphasizing women’s participation in urban mobility. Using innovative teaching methods, hands-on applications, and a blend of theoretical and practical formats, courses will span six modules with self-study components fostering urban sustainability, innovation and gender perspectives.
Program Content:
Duration: 12 days (24 hours)
Format: 50% face to face and 50% online (hybrid)

Introduction to Sustainable Urban Mobility
Electrification of Urban Mobility
Sustainable Urban Logistics
Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS)
Fostering Innovation and Technology in the Mobility Sector
Insights into Gender Differences in Urban Transport
Quota: Limited to 100 Students
Participation Requirements:
- The program is completely free of charge.
- The program is going to start at Wednesday, May 7th, from 19:00 to 21:00
in classroom A.011 at the Ancient Olive Grove Campus UniWA.
