About the NUMA Project
The NextGen Urban Mobility Academy (NUMA) is a collaborative initiative launched by the University of West Attica, Ardem Project, EcoMuse Consulting, and the Marmara Municipalities Union, focusing on urban mobility in Athens and Istanbul. Leveraging the knowledge triangle of education, research, and business, and through the active involvement of cities, NUMA aims to foster long-term innovation via tailored training programs. Core activities include developing courses for municipal staff and university students, organizing stakeholder events, and promoting the participation of women in urban mobility. The training program will consist of six modules combining innovative teaching methods, applied case studies, and a blend of theoretical and practical formats. These modules will support perspectives on urban sustainability, innovation, and gender equality with a strong focus on both people and the environment.
